Monocle 24 App Reviews

A little bummed that I paid for the previous version, but all in all a great improvement! Very buggy, crashes and has “connection” issues. Love Monocle app needs improving, but good effort!

I love Monocle 24. The app is a much improved version allowing you to rw and ff through programs but bugs still exist for the programs Monocle Daily and Monocle Presents. Also sometimes the stream randomly stops or disconnects. Fix these problems and the app would be incredible!!

Enjoy the content. App works much better now.

Superb, content is as youd expect from Monocle. only addition Id make would be the ability to browse whilst listening.

This app just doesnt work. Fix it please.

5 S on 8.1 You have great content. App is not only bare bones but very buggy. You have done very few updates to fix or improve. You are a design venue but show very little in app. You deserve no stars but believe that you can improve. So it crashes, error messages, and link to dev website says out of space. Most would say not worth a S__t but I have hope. Monocle Daily and House crash when selected Tested today after update Seems more robust but Midori House still crashes at launch

How sad that a company which celebrates good design and obsesses on the importance of brands would offer such an ill-conceived and badly broken app to customers.

I am a fan of many Monocle 24 shows like Culture and The Urbanist, so I was happy to hear that an app was made for the live feed. There is so much room for improvement for this app. The first is, it is buggy. It will shut off after a while. Since I have my phone connected to my stereo, I have to get up and restart the app numorous times. Second, there should be a schedule on the app for what times what show starts when. Finally, during music slots, they should have a graphic for what song is being played. Like many companies that release apps for the first time, there is always going to be bugs. Dont stop trying, Monocle. Constantly update your app and keep squashing those bugs. Youre brand already stands out as the gold standard, Monocle 24 made it better, and an awesome app presentation will take you through the stratosphere.

Live streaming frequently stops and you need to reopen the app. It is good to play podcasts but pretty bad for live streaming. Also, live streaming stops when you return to the Timeshift section. The content and intention is good but the "Live" experience ruins this app. Monocle is overdue to fix this bug.

I hope Monocle redesigns this poor app soon. Dont understand why theyve presented an app that fails to present basic radio functions or necessary information.

I love Monocle radio, so its very nice to be able to download broadcasts and take them on the go. The content is always informative, but savvy and creative. The only thing keeping this from being a 5-star rating is that I dont see any way to delete downloaded shows once Im finished with them.

Can we please have smarter auto download and iPhone6 screen support
