Great content, terribly buggy app

Monocle is producing world class content on various subject, such as design. How did they manage such an unusable app? Streaming crashes every ten minutes, no matter the network (LTE, 3G, wifi), shows little integration with locked screen, hard time to handle incoming phone calls, basically all rudimentary aspect of using seems broken.
It needs major fixes.
